How it works

Verified, but never exposed.

01

One private handle

You get a random handle, like QuietHeron42. You can change it once every 90 days.

02

A tag that builds trust

Add a verified tag, like "MS CS · STEM OPT". Company names only show when 25 or more verified people from that company are on See, so nobody can single you out.

03

Your name, only if you want

Turn on "Post as yourself" for any post, or hide your company name. You decide each time.

Join the channels you care about. Your For You feed brings them together with the companies you follow.

Questions

About anonymity.

Can my employer find out a post is mine?

Your handle is not linked to your name anywhere other people can see. A company name only shows on a post when 25 or more verified people from that company are on See, and you can hide it on any post. Our staff can link a handle to a person only for a legal request or to stop serious harm, and two people must approve it.

Why does everyone need to be verified?

So the advice comes from real people. Anonymous talk stays honest when you know the person behind every handle is real, even if you do not know who it is.

Can recruiters post in the community?

Only in Ask a Recruiter, in their own company channel and at their events. Their posts always carry an Official badge, and they can never post anonymously.

What happens when I report a post?

A team reviews it, starting with the most serious reports. If we act on your own post, you can appeal in the app.
